INTRODUCTION:

Mitrasena TRicho is the combination of Trichoderma viride & Trichoderma harzanium, are the potential antagonistic fungus which prevents the crops from diseases viz. Root rots, Wilts, brown rot, damping off, Charcoal rot and other soil born diseases in crops. Mitrasena Tricho  is a filamentous fungus that is widely distributed in the soil, plant material, decaying vegetation, and wood. Trichoderma spp. are fungi, that are present in nearly all soils and other diverse habitats. In soil, they frequently are the most prevalent culturable fungi. . Among their other activities, they grow tropically Toward hyphae of other fungi,  colonies them and finally destroys them, ie they kill the harmful pathogenic fungi in The ecosystem that cause immense damage to some Valuable crops under cultivation in the farmers fields This fungus has enormous properties to control many  Severe and deadly plant.

SUITABLE FOR:

Sugarcane, Pulses, Oilseeds, Cotton, Vegetables, Banana, Coconut, Oil palm, Chilies, Lime, Coffee & Tea, Areca nut & Rubber, Flower crops, Spices, & Contiments etc.,

MECHANISM:

Mitrasena Tricho secrets cellulase and chitinase enzymes which react with cell wall of the disease causative pathogenic fungi or bacteria and dissolve the same.Mitrasena Tricho utilize the protoplasm as a source of food and multiply its spores. By this method the spores of the pathogenic fungi are destroyed. It destroys the fungal pathogens by secreting toxic substances such as Glyotoxin, Viridin and Trichodermin.

ADVANTAGES:

*It is a Biological fungicide with world wide application.
*It protects germinating seed, roots and emerging shoots from soil borne
  Pathogens.
*It is also effective against a large number of foliar diseases.
*It is Economical and effective to use in the field
*It is Environment friendly, on toxic and non habit forming to plants
*It is Ideal for organic farming, IPM and export oriented crops.
*It can be used as a seed dressing agent
*It has properties to induce systemic resistance in plants.
*It can colonize the pathogenic host root system.
*It helps the affected plant to grow again naturally and recover fully
*It has growth promoting properties.

MODE OF ACTION:

It controls the pathogen by substrate competition for nutrients available in
     the soil, Antibiosis and Mycoparasitism.

It is a preventive biological (living) fungicide that attacks disease pathogens
before they reach the root system. It starts immediately protecting the
     delicate root system.

It also grows on root surfaces and surrounding soil particles and provides
     prolonged protection.

DOSAGE BLANKET RECOMMENDATION:

Soil application 500- 1000 ml /Acre along with any organic fertilize
     (without pathogenic contaminants)

Seed treatment @ 3- 4 ml per kg of seeds as per standard wet treatment.

Seedling treatment @ 100 ml /25 l prior to planting. Over dosing does not
     cause any harmful side effects

Green house potting mix or soil drench

Mix Mitrasena Tricho in sufficient water (500ml/100L) to achieve uniform application
Apply at the rate of 50-100  ml per cubic metre (loose) of greenhouse potting mix, soil or planting beds

Mitrasena Tricho  can be applied through low pressure watering nozzles such as fan nozzles or other watering systems (drip system) after filtering with filters. Agitate to maintain suspension. For best effect, treat potting mix several days before use for seeding or transplants

For bulbs & Ornamental
Dip bulbs in Mitrasena Tricho  suspension
(50 ml/L) prior to planting

Seed dressing:
Mitrasena Tricho @ 4 ml per Kg of seeds can be used along with the appropriate stickers/wetting agents to coat the seeds.

2-3 applications
in vegetables ornamentals
and 4-5 applications
in lawns and landscape
crops are recommended. However, the frequency
of applications also depends on the degree
of diseases infestation.
In the case of high infestation multiple applications are recommended. Applications during
early stages of plant growth protect the
plant during critical stages of development, translating into
better performance and yield

 BENEFITS

Ecofriendly and is non –toxic to humans and animals
     Maintain the ecological balance
Does not create resistance, resurgence and residues problem
Does not affect the natural enemies and offers a long lasting pest control
