Mode of action

Termimax controls termites through contact, ingestion and ‘transfer effect – social interactions and cannibalism. TERMIMAX -TC is a non-repellent termite treatment. Its application to soil creates a protective zone between termites in the soil and roots of crop. 

TERMIMAX -TC gets rid of termites in several ways.
First, termites are eliminated as they ingest or contact with TERMIMAX -TC in the treated zone. Second, termites transfer TERMIMAX -TC through social interaction and cannibalism known as “Transfer Effect”.

Termites survive as a colony and are in constant contact with each other. TERMIMAX -TC uses this against them to protect your crop. Once exposed to TERMIMAX -TC, termites stop feeding and soon die. TERMIMAX -TC not only kills termite but it also substantially reduces and eliminates termite colony.

Recommendation
 •    5 – 10 kg / acre (according to severity of the
       infections) before sowing or with first dose o
       fertilizers.
•    1 kg for nursery bed meant to develop seedlings for
      1 ha. of field crop.
•    1 litre per acre (Liquid form) as drip-by-drip through
       irrigation.
•    3-4 ml per litre of water, drenching near root zone
      through sprayer by removing nozzle.
